1/8 Lily Anim.o.v.e Quick Review

A very long overdue figure review! It's been very hectic lately thanks to AniManGaki @.@ My workload is actually more than last year, definitely felt the pressure. But now that it's over, I feel empty inside D:

Moving along, I think I used up my life long's luck by winning myself a 1/8 Lily Animo.v.e figure. Credits to Hobby Frontier for this amazing lucky draw! It was their first 1/8 giveaway, and lady's luck shone upon me. As a Lily fan, I'm really happy to be the owner of this 1/8, and I'll treasure her forever T_T

I received the figure, with a badly damaged box. The sides were dented QAQ Thank god for Good Smile Company's packaging method, the figure is safe and unharmed. Utmost care had to be taken when I tried to extract Lily since the box is badly dented. (Thus no pictures of the box :P)

The both of them look so lovely together I CAN'T----

Nendroid Lily from Anim.o.v.e

*Ba Dum Tss*

I have finally received my long awaited nendroid, Lily, from Anim.o.v.e.! Decided to a very brief/short review, well, I'm not really sure how to do figure reviews since...I only own two nendroids and a couple of nendroid puchis LOL, plus, my camera isn't really good enough to focus on the details of D:

But welp, here goes!

Music & Lyrics & PV : niki (mylist/22057852)

キーヽ(ﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉータ！

niki's new song! I kind of hope that it was a VOCAROCK song, but seems like this House song is fine too XD It's a short song this time. And for once, 4-beat! niki usually writes songs in 3 beats. Hm hm, interesting XD Again, I managed to catch niki uploading his new song again ww THIS IS FATE! FATE I TELL YOU! lol

Sarishinohara | Mikito-P

Music & Lyrics : Mikito-P

Vocals : Rib / Hatsune Miku

Illustration & Movie : CHRIS

Hopefully I interpreted the song correctly, so here goes, a summary of the song/story, translation of the Sarishinohara short comic done by CHRIS.

【V3Lily】 crescendo 【Romanized Lyrics】

Music, lyrics, PV : CALFO (mylist/9394487)

I was surfing NND late at night, going through V3 Lily tags and saw this intriguing video with a pretty thumbnail. Decided to click it, and, bam, this song is just awesome and I was really surprised. I checked and this song didn't even went up to top 100 in the daily rankings (the highest was only 227th) I AM SAD!

Accompanied by great PV, this VOCAROCK is well written by CALFO, not to mention V3 Lily's powerful low pitch voice put to good use in the intro melody. And I have to say, the drums are really soothing to the ears, and, dat electric guitar solo just before the final chorus, lovely. And the lyrics are just good as everything. Perfect!

As a fan of Lily, I am satisfied. /gives my seal of approval

【Nekomura Iroha】鴇色の歌姫 Tokiiro no Utahime 【Romanized Lyrics】

Music, lyrics, PV by : Murashita Ryou (mylist/10701098)

Illustration, costume design : kether (mylist/30786664)

This Iroha song is just so much love (not to mention that tough kanji in the song title www). I only have like a handful of Iroha songs that I like, and this song is definitely one of'em. Iroha-nee-san sounds so 'alive' in here, I really love how Murashita-P tunes Iroha-nee. This song definitely needs some boost <3

【Lily】WAVE【Romanized Lyrics】

I have been waiting for your new song niki, since Febuary (since his last song, Jitter Doll)

Music, lyrics, PV : niki (mylist/22057852)

A change of pace for niki-san this time! Instead of a VOCAROCK, this time, it's more of a club music! Just like HYBRID! Well, I'm glad that niki writes these kind of songs too, they're addictive and groovy! This song is so funky and the lyrics are cute www Actually, I've been stalking niki a lot lately, he did mentioned that his new song will be out by winter, so here it is, WAVE. I'm so happy!! HNNGGHHH /falls down from chair. I need a moment to chill ;w;

WHERE'S YOUR FIRST ALBUM NIKI-SAN?!

AniManGaki 2012 Day 1

こんちゃーす。It's time for AniManGaki 2012 Day 1's report. I'm so slow orz. Despite all the fatigue from set up day, the crews & volunteers had to get up early in the morning X_X I for one, arrived at the hall at 7am again. By the way, walking around Pyramid 7am in the morning is an interesting adventure o3o

I realized that I did not took enough pictures of the hall on set up day so I decided to take'em on Day 1 (More pictures of the hall taken on Day 2 though ww)

AniManGaki Day 0 Report!

こんちゃーす。おひさしぶりでーす。もう1週間ぐらいボカロニュース見てなかった。悲しいです。

Hello, its been awhile, and also, it has been more than 1 week since I last checked out Vocaloid news. So sad.

Putting that aside, I've been cut off from internet while I was back in Melaka and when I came back, I was busy with AniManGaki. Oh well, time to stop yapping and get to the report :)

For starters, here's a sum about AniManGaki :

AniManGaki is abbreviated from the word Anime, Manga, and Gaki (Japanese slang for 'brat'). The event's purpose is to have anime/manga/games fans congregate together and share their love for'em and meet new friends and have some fun. This year's theme for AniManGaki is 高校 (Highschool).

【GUMI】焔の棟 Honoo no Tou 【Romaji Lyrics】

Collage, Music : utml (mylist/16009276)

PV : hie (mylist/9655416)

Mastering : cheap (user/288003)

I have to say this is my favourite work from utml-san. Previously kept listening to his Toiki Ensenble(吐息アンサンブル)! Gosh, I really love this VOCAROCK. The way utml makes V2 GUMI whispery and the hype when the chorus strikes is just beautiful. It makes me feel like screaming to the chorus www. Putting that aside, the lyrics is sooo deep I failed to grasp what utml-san wanted to convey /sob. Oh, not to mention that this collage made by utml-san is so pretty! It creates a different atmosphere to the song, good job!.

Lyrics after the jump!

Ohisashiburi desu.

こんちゃーす。Yello! It's been awhile eh? Life's been busy lately and quite eventful I should say. But first, I would like to say good job to Lee Chong Wei for fighting hard and earned yourself a silver medal. It's frustrating, but you did what you could. /virtual pats. On wednesday 15/8/2012, me and my friends decided to line up for Baskin Robins' free ice-cream!

VocaParty - Malaysia Vocaloid Party's New Blog

Yay! Thanks to JHan for opening/doing up the new blog, we now have a new official blog :) (click the picture to link to the blog!)

Can't wait to get back posting random stuffs XD Do hope there will be more viewers since M.V.P did grew after AFAMY!

MVP Outing 2nd Batch

Malaysia Vocaloid Party (M.V.P) 2nd outing! This time, more veteran members came and my first time meeting founder of MVP! Boss Aki! Didn't took as much as photos as last time though X_X Chatted a lot with the members :)

【Hatsune Miku】愛してくれなくていいよ【Romaji + Translation】

A very soothing and sad ballad song, it talks about a girl suffering when in love, asking the other party to stop loving her. Well, for me who has zero experience in relationships, I might not fully understand what this song really wants to portray, but still, I might just understand that feeling a tiny wee bit.

p.s: I left Aishitekurenakute ii yo English lyrics as the song title so it sounds more romantic..what, it doesn't work this way? o3o?

MVP Outing 1st Batch

Had an outing with MVP (Malaysia Vocaloid Party) members last Sunday at Tenshi no Cafe!

IT WAS FUN

Never knew that I'd actually stay at Tenshi from 11.30am to 5pm. Met lots of new people, new MVP members to be exact. Had food, laughter, sneer at each other, stare at Kaname photos, walk around The Curve, jump around Tenshi. Plenty of fun!

The table at 1.18pm. Not everyone has arrived yet though lol!

We did create quite a fuss at the cafe, we were very noisy lol, I hope the Tenshi team doesn't mind >_<

Moe~Moe~Kyun~!

And then, I saw this.....

FUUUUUUU The 1/8 Lily figure that I wanted so much QAQ......damn! /attempts to steal.

Funny thing throughout this outing is, I didn't took much photos of the guys, orz...sorry guys >< I'll promise to do so this sunday!

Da girls! :D

Looking forward to this coming Sunday's outing too :) It'll be a blast! And I'll finally meet boss Aki! (Founder of MVP)

Oh well, I gotta go! Badminton session with my friends :3

ACCA, A New Semester, A New Course.

Hello hello! It's been awhile since I last updated huh? (I-I'm busy you know! L-like, playing games and watching anime.../shot)

Oh by the way, a photo of how I celebrate niki's Jitter Doll song hitting 100,000 views. And yes, I was in front of my computer refreshing the view counter till it hits 100,000 XD

Celebrating niki's achievement by eating caramel popcorn LOL. H-hey I'm not rich m'kay!

I haven't posted up pictures of my trip to Tenshi no Cafe, so here's some from my second trip to the cafe! I had matcha ice floss! Brought my one and only nendroid with me lol. Me and my housemates were served by the butler, Gin, I was served by him too during my first visit to Tenshi. Such a nice butler, had light chats with him and that made my trip to Tenshi enjoyable XD

The Green Tea Ice Floss, topped with Azuki Beans.

The silly forgot to ask for membership card during my first visit D: But I definitely remembered to ask for it during my second trip so here it is! Blue in colour XD

The front.

The back of the card, I mushed my name since I didn't use Reigan but my real name instead www.

Oh well, will be going to Tenshi again this coming Sunday and next Sunday for MVP gathering! I do hope Gin serves me again /shot

First class for the sem started today, *yawn*

【IA】Ame no Niwa 雨の庭【Romanized Lyrics】

Music & Lyrics : kaoling (mylist/14865214)

Illustration : Niyatsushi (http://www.pixiv.net/member.php?id=3618785)

PV : Garakuta Pengin

Chorus : Mutanosuke (mylist/13211699)

Words can't express how much I love this song. The sounds used in this song is just so amazing, kaoling combined them together and make a very soothing sad song. Also, with the new IA's clear voice just makes it better. I might translate this song (In fact, I'm already halfway done :3 Just hope that my Japanese won't fail me and I have time to do it since my exams are next week orz)

Lyrics after the break!

Nya~on! Finally a study break for me!

Yatta! One week study break for me! Its been forever since my last break, I do not have mid-sem breaks for my course, and even my sem breaks lasts only for about 2/3 weeks orz.

Will enjoy study hard for the week, I need some motivation :V

Last week had a meet up with MVP (Malaysia Vocaloid Party) members again :3 Was really fun hanging out with these cool people.

Dear friend brought along her Ace! Posed with my HMO Miku :3

Well, it has been an eventful day, we went for Dark Shadows movie. Frankly, I feel that Dark Shadows is better than Avengers. Please don't flame me. And I finally met Lero! :3

I guess I'll chill out during this weekend and watch some anime, play some kingdom hearts or read some manga or something XD Thank you oh so fast internet!

Will get to studying next week.

Hopefully.

Been listening to this a lot lately.
